Engine and performance
To achieve optimal performance in sheltered waters, the 20m Catamaran is equipped with powerful engines, delivering a total of 1500HP. This level of power ensures reliable propulsion for consistent speeds, making it suitable for ferrying passengers or light cargo over short routes. With a displacement of approximately 50 tons, the ferry is designed to provide stability and efficiency. The ferry’s engines and design make it a versatile option for calm waters while offering the potential for customisation if operations extend to more challenging sea conditions.

Construction and materials
Constructed using marine-grade aluminium, the 20m ferry boasts a sturdy yet lightweight design. Aluminum offers key advantages such as resistance to corrosion, durability, and ease of maintenance, making it an excellent choice for maritime operations. The ferry’s displacement of 50 tons is balanced by this material choice, ensuring both strength and optimal weight distribution. Should customer needs dictate, the vessel's design can be enhanced with reinforcements for operations in rougher seas, offering flexibility in its construction based on operational demands.
Versatility and adaptations
Though the 20m Ferry Catamaran is primarily designed for sheltered waters, its versatility shines through in its adaptability to other environments. Modifications can be made to the hull and stability systems to improve its performance in rough seas, making it suitable for a wider range of applications. Moreover, the ferry’s design allows for various customisations, such as extending the length to between 18 and 21 meters, which can increase passenger capacity or provide additional deck space. A full wheelhouse can also be added to the second deck for enhanced visibility and operational control, ensuring the ferry can meet specific client needs.
